New EMT Service Launched in New Amsterdam to Enhance Emergency Response

Residents of New Amsterdam, Region Six, are set to experience enhanced emergency medical response as a new Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) service was launched on Friday. The service, introduced at the New Amsterdam Fire Station, has trained 15 individuals over six months to provide advanced medical assistance. This initiative, aimed at reducing the local emergency room workload and improving patient outcomes, is part of a broader effort by the Ministry of Home Affairs to extend such services across the country. Fire Chief (ag) Gregory Wickham emphasized the expected decrease in accident-related fatalities due to the prompt and skilled response of the newly trained EMTs.
